Now that we finally have consistently lovely spring weather up here in Wisconsin, I figured it is the perfect time to start sharing my spring capsule wardrobe.
As you may remember, this past winter was when I created my first ever capsule wardrobe. I had hemmed and hawed about it for over a year but I finally took the plunge! Creating my first capsule was the last big push I needed to get rid of those lingering, less-than-amazing pieces in my wardrobe. I created that winter capsule almost entirely from pieces I already owned and some thrifted items.
This spring, I’m less focused on numbers and I allowed myself to buy a few more new pieces than in the winter. However, I did keep my budget quite small. See, I’m going through this thing lately where my style is evolving faster than I can keep up. I attribute it to all the major changes that happened in my life over the past year.
Since I don’t have a solid grasp on what I want to wear, I’m trying to just feel it out, try things out, and not invest in tons of new pieces before I know where my wardrobe is headed.
With that said, today I wanted to share the ins and outs of my spring capsule. That is, the pieces coming in from storage or that are newly purchased, and the pieces from winter that are going out and will be tucked away in my under bed bins until snowy season descends again.
