We’re continuing my apartment tour series with a look into my bathroom. If you’ve missed any of the other posts in this series, you can click here to check out my kitchen tour, bedroom tour, and closet tour.
The apartment I live in now is actually the first bathroom I’ve ever had with a vanity cabinet. All my past rentals have had pedestal sinks, so the storage in this place is such a luxury to me! (No more storing makeup in the closet!) Since I’ve got all these lovely drawers to myself, I like to spread out my stuff into well-defined categories. That means that my drawers are on the emptier side, but I prefer it that way.
As far as decor, there’s not much happening in this space. Actually, there’s virtually nothing, unless you count a white, waffle weave shower curtain and white towels. In general, I think finishes have a lot more impact in a bathroom than decorative pieces, but I have no control over the finishes since it’s a rental. Although I swoon over white subway tile and marble counters on Pinterest, I do appreciate the light, simple finishes in my current space. It’s a functional bathroom and I’m grateful for it.
