Day 8 of my 30 day challenge to break my weight loss plateau is over. I guess this means I’m officially more than 25% done!

Today’s exercise: Today was the hottest day of spring so far. It got up to 87 degrees! I love that kind of weather so I didn’t want to work out in a stuffy gym, but it was so hot that once I got outside I couldn’t make myself run. Instead I just took a long walk through a very hilly neighborhood for about an hour.
Today’s food: I finally finished off the snap pea crisps and date balls and I’m relieved. The snap pea crisps are just the kind of snack food that I avoid buying because I know I will eat too many too fast. The date balls are pretty healthy but they’re just so calorie dense that it’s easy to overdo it without eating a lot of volume. All in all, these are two foods I think I’ll be avoiding going forward. And I’ll definitely be avoiding hungry grocery shopping, since that’s what led to me buying the crisps and dates in the first place!
Today’s calorie totals: 2136 consumed – 2307 burned = -171 kcal. My LoseIt! calorie goal is calculated for me to lose about one pound per week.
