Today’s exercise: I went for a hike for about an hour around 4 pm. I went to a nature preservation area and it was such a nice change of scenery. While I was there I took the opportunity to be a bit playful and climb some trees.
Today’s food: I had oatmeal for breakfast that I made a bit differently by stirring in some frozen berries. They got melty and gooey, which tasted great, and they turned the oatmeal pink! For lunch, I put some quinoa salad that I bought at Costco on a bed of mixed greens and added in some beans (black and great northern, but for logging I just put the whole quantity under black beans) and added half and avocado and some lime juice on top. Lunch tasted great, too, but it wasn’t super filling, so I made date balls/bliss balls around 3. They were great and gave me tons of energy for my hike, and kept me full for the rest of the night.
