Day 26 is done. Only 4 more days to go!
I’ve been feeling lately like my weight is not moving in the right direction. I’m worried that I won’t have great results at the end of this challenge, but I’m trying to remember that my intention with starting it was to help build better habits, not shift a crazy amount of weight in 30 days. Although, let’s be real, that would be great.
What I have noticed is that I’m listening to my body a lot more than I was before this challenge. I’m more aware of my hunger levels and energy levels. Sadly, the period that just ended made me super tired and super hungry, so I feel like I was moving in the complete wrong direction, but I’m trying to listen to what my body wants and trust that things will balance out in the long term. (Even though I do want to beat myself up about it in the short term when I don’t workout or eat perfectly every day.)

Today’s exercise: I finished my library books, so I walked the 5 mile round trip to drop them off tonight.
Today’s food: I had watermelon around 7:30, a vegan grilled cheese at 10, granola for late lunch, and steamed chicken and vegetables with white rice for dinner. For dessert I had some apple breakfast cobbler, which is healthier than the dessert version, but not by much when you eat 2 servings…
