Day 15 is over, which means I’m officially halfway through my 30 day attempt to break my weight loss plateau.
I must say, I am not too pleased with where I’m at. Yesterday’s poor dinner choice continued into today, with loads of snacking and a huge dinner eaten at my parents’ house. I made the trip home very last minute and you know what they say: fail to prepare, prepare to fail.
I essentially gave myself the day off from eating well because I was throwing a pity party for myself over a bad weigh-in. I weighed in this morning at 188.1 pounds, which is up 0.2 pounds from my 7 day weight. Not a big gain by any means, but still enough to disappoint me and shake my confidence. I had hoped to make more progress by the halfway point, but as it is my total loss so far is 0.7 pounds. (Side note: I really do need to work on my mental resilience.)
Brace yourself for the worst food diary so far.

Today’s exercise: I did not get a workout in today. I ended up going to see my parents very last minute so my morning was spent rush-cleaning my apartment, making cat-sitting arrangements, and packing. Then I hit the road and once I got there I was too busy to fit it in. I could have taken some time away from seeing my family for it, but with the generally pissy mood I was in from the weigh-in that was just not going to happen.
Today’s food: Honestly, I don’t even want to talk about it. I think the screenshots speak for themselves and I’d like to just forget this day happened and focus on making better choices tomorrow.
